Does anybody remember the old wooden clothes pegs? They were great fun for kids. You could cut out a strip of card, give it a bit of a twist, put a thumbtack through the middle and stick it on the end of a peg. Bingo, you had a propeller. When it came to hanging out washing, they were very easy to use and quite effective at holding clothes on the line.
